AJ and Raj

Posted by Elizabeth Salib on October 20th, 2009

AJ and Raj were engaged just before the summer, and decided they would like to get some pictures done. We took a trip downtown and hit as many spots as we could. Raj knew the area well, and we ended up taking some gorgeous pictures inside the building she works at. Then we headed to a small restaurant for some lunch before hitting one more spot on Lakeshore and heading home.

Lori and Joe

I did an engagement shoot with Lori and Joe around two months ago. We headed to Edwards Gardens, a well known park in the city, one very warm morning. Needless to say, we came out with some gorgeous pictures. Lori and Joe were some of the easiest people I’ve ever had to work with, and I think that reveals itself in the images I was able to come up with. They look wonderful together.

Little E

Little E’s parents wanted some photographs of her that could be used as art to be displayed on her nursery walls. I ended up with a mixture of staged photographs and candids, but the candids of her definitely stood out over the others. Little E’s amazing blue-green eyes made her very photogenic, and she wore the cutest little pink dress. Below you can see some of the photos we took in the gorgeous mid-August weather.

Serene’s Bridal Shower

Posted by Elizabeth Salib on July 8th, 2009

One of my relatives wanted to give a special gift to Serene for her bridal shower. She hired me as the photographer to take pictures of the event, and of the beautiful bride-to-be. Below are some pictures of Serene with her family: cousins, aunts, a mother, a sister and a best friend. Her two brides maids (her sister and best friend), did an excellent job of organizing the party, and you can see some pictures of the interesting games they come up with near the bottom of this post.

Sophie’s First Communion

Posted by Elizabeth Salib on July 3rd, 2009

Gina found me through an online classifieds website called Kijiji. She emailed me asking if I could take some pictures of her daughter in her First Communion dress, and I agreed. After numerous phone calls and cancelled dates, we finally were able to meet up at Kleinburg, and it sure was worth the wait! We had what was probably the first nice day here in Toronto. The weeks before it had been dreadful because of the rain, but on the day we met, it was bright and sunny. Perfect picture-taking weather!

Below are pictures of her beautiful daughter Sophie. This was the first children’s session I had ever done, and I’m very pleased with the results.
